    Detail Itinerary

    Day 1
    Mount Everest Helicopter Tour

Your journey will begin with a private pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu, followed by a drive to Tribhuvan International Airport for the tour. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your guide, who will assist you throughout the experience. After completing a security check and ID verification, you’ll meet the pilot and flight crew for a safety briefing and a rundown of the flight route. A weather check will then confirm your flight clearance.

Soon, you’ll embark on your eastward flight into the Everest region, soaring above the Bhaktapur Himalayan foothills, river valleys, and terraced landscapes. A brief stop for refueling will take place at the world-famous Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. After this stop, the scenic flight will continue along the Dudh Koshi River valley, revealing traditional Sherpa villages like Phakding, Monjo, and Namche Bazaar, with stunning views of Thamserku, Kusum Kanguru, Everest, and Lhotse in the distance.

You’ll also fly over the famous Tengboche Monastery, beautifully nestled among forests and mountain peaks—an essential spiritual and cultural highlight of the region. Your flight path will then take you above Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep, where you can admire the awe-inspiring Khumbu Glacier, the Icefall, and Everest Base Camp (with a flyover only).

Next, you will land at Kala Patthar, celebrated as the best viewpoint for Mount Everest. Step out for 360° panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, and Ama Dablam, with ample time for a quick photo session in front of the world’s tallest peak. From Kala Patthar, you’ll continue to the Hotel Everest View, the world’s highest luxury hotel, where you can enjoy views of Everest from the dining room as you descend to a more comfortable altitude.

Here, you’ll savor a gourmet breakfast while soaking in the panoramic vistas of the Himalayan range. Finally, you’ll retrace your flight path, enjoying your last glimpses of the majestic mountains and the villages below. Upon landing back at Tribhuvan International Airport, a private vehicle will be ready to take you back to your hotel, bringing your unforgettable tour to an end.
